Topography:
Ille-sur-Tet is a small town with almost 6'000 inhabitants. It is situated 20 km west of Perpignan on the road towards Puigcerda (Spanish border). Apart from the numerous hikes and excursions from Ille-sur-Tet there are also 4 tennis courts and a swimming pool. The nearest bathing beaches of Canet-Plage and St-Cyprien-Plage are about 30 km away.
