Borgo Mocale is situated on the hills of Pratomagno, 4 km from Castelfranco di Sopra where all kind of services can be found. Old hamlet built around the 13th century by some monks and now renovated keeping the original structure and character. Nowadaysconsists of a farmhouse divived into two units surrounded by private garden. The apartments are furnished in farmers style and taste. Borgo Mocale is situated in the heart of cultural Tuscany: Arezzo 38 km, Florence 40 km, Siena 54 km. For joint use there is a 6 x 12 m swimming pool (open 15/05- 25/9), large terraces and gardens, table tennis, children playground. Possible to arrange trekkink excursions (on foot or by bike), walks and botanic excursions. Classical and folk music concerts in the cellar. Possible to buy wine, olive oil and organic products of the farm. Topography:
In the hills of Valdarno, and situated half way between Florence and Arezzo. Castelfranco di Sopra was built by the Florentines in the 13th Century. Inside the city walls, one can see the attractive medieavel and Renaissance houses, bordered by criss-crossing alleyways. The Abbey La Badia di Soffena is located a a short distance outside the town and after a recent renovation has been restored to its original splendour.
