Ideal place for families with children. Holiday village Arolsen-Twistesee, outside the resort, 3 km from the centre of Bad Arolsen, in a quiet position, 300 m from the lake, in the woods. Shop, supermarket 3 km, restaurant 200 m, bus stop 3 km, railway station Bad Arolsen 4 km. Swimming pool, indoor swimming pool 3.5 km, public bathing area 500 m, riding stables 2 km. Worth Seeing: The Baroque Royal castle, mountain park Wilhelmshohe Kassel, the thermal spas of Kassel and there are also some fine examples of the well kept Romanesque architecture.
