Appledore 7 km from Bideford: Appledore is a pretty little fishing village situated at the mouth of the river Torridge. This group of four exclusive cottages set around a small secluded courtyard ( 6 m long) is situated in a small lane close to the quayside. very nice, comfortable country house in the resort, in a central, secluded position, in a cul-de-sac. For shared use: garden 60 m2. In house: washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). Public car park at 300 m. Grocers 100 m, shopping centre 7 km, restaurant 80 m, bar 20 m. Golf course 3 km. Access to the house to load/unload only. Parking costs approx £1.60 per day or £7 per week.

The Little White Town of Bideford has been a crossing place on the River Torridge for centuries and is still a busy port. It is situated in the north of Devon in a beautiful area approximately 14 km south of Barnstaple, approximately 86 km west of Taunton, approximately 66 km north west of Exeter and 163 km from Bristol. Town centre has a wide range of shops, restaurants and pubs plus antique markets, cattle market every Tuesday, Victoria Park, Art Gallery and Museum, Tarka cylepath through the Torridge Valley. Many lovely sandy beaches within easy reach such as Westward Ho, Saunton and Croyde. Golf course. Activity centre in Appledore offers surfing, sailing, canoeing, rafting and climbing. Lots of interesting things to see and do in the area: festivals and regattas in the summer, Milky Way Adventure Park, Pottery, Crystal factory, Tarka Line railway. Boat trips to Lundy Island.
