San Romualdo is situated on an agricultural estate of 300 hectares, in a position commanding a superb view over the Tevere valley, the city of Todi and the village of Montecastello (2 km). Externally the rural features have been skilfully preserved, while inside careful attention has been paid to detail, and to providing a high level of comfort. It is furnished with good quality rustic pieces, and the kitchen is equipped with dishwasher and oven. In the garden, as well as fully equipped private areas, a 6x13 m swimming-pool for guests' exclusive use has been built. Guests may find food shops in the nearby village of Montecastello which also has aspects of considerable historic interest, starting with the nineteenth-century theatre which is held to be the smallest in the world. Topography:
This charming medieval town with 18'000 inhabitants is in a very lovely position at an altitude of 400 m, 40 km south of Perugia. Numerous ruins dated back to the Etruscan and Roman times, well-known art centre.
