This residence Marina Holyder is situated right by the lake on the small penisula of Rougemer, in the heart of a nature reserve. Comprising more than 50 houses, some of them terraced, clusterred around the shared grounds. Each house has access to a private garden, a terrace, and natural wood interiors. Of great interest in the shared grounds is the covered, heated swimming pool (12 x 8 m, deep, 0 x 2 m, 01.01-31.12) with childrens area, jacuzzi, fitness room, bar and a pizzeria. A true village has been created in order to maximise your rest and relaxation and an easy access to the swimming pool, jacuzzi, to the beach on the lake, to the childrens play area and to the cycling routes. Other activities are extra, except the windsurf boards if you bring your own equipment.>Animals are allowed at an extra EUR 40/stay. Electric heating. Topography:
Small village of approx 250 inhabitants, situated in the countryside close to lake Der. St Dizier, 24 km, to the south. Vitry le Francois, 28 km. Train station at both villages. Set in the heart of a pristeen unspoilt countryside, these 4800 hectares are home to one of the largest waterfalls in Europe and forms an amazing inland lake. On the Rougemont peninsula, a real nautical station has been created with a port of 7 hectares which has enough mooring space for 700 boats. Beaches for swimming at, sports centre with very good quality facilities: indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fitness room, tennis). It is possible to enjoy a wide variety of nautical activities: saling, windsurfing, catamaran, water skiing, jet ski, fishing. There are cycling routes and other quided routes allong the lakes 77 km of shoreline. BTT rental. The area becomes a wonderful place to visit in periods when birds migrate to lake Der. This ornothological event has been acclaimed internationally. There are a number of excursions in the area: the aviary and fish farms, horse breeding at Moutier en Der, churches and museums.
