Residence:
The Podere is situated in a lovely hilly landscape on the outskirts of Collevecchio (400 m above sea level) and 50 km from Rome (30min with car or train). It has a wonderful position of total freedom inside the farm grounds of 10 ha, but all the necessary services within a short distance. The swimming pool with springboard and 2 showers (hot water) is for exclusive use of the guests and it is in panoramic position among oleander, palm andcitrus trees. It has been totally renovated and consists of a main villa with 2 of our apartments and the owner's apartment and several outbuildings where there are 2 more of our apartments. All nicely furnished in country style, independent entrance and outdoor private area to dine al fresco. Inside the same grounds there are 2 detsched houses: Il Melogranosituated in panoramic position above the swimming pool and with a large private terrace, 33 m2 and Le Querce situated in a more secluded and panoramic position 30 m from the swimming pool, surrounded by a 300 m2 natural, enclosed gardene with trees. For shared use: swimming pool (6 x 14 m, 29.05.-25.09.), outside shower, garden furniture. Parking by the house. Shop, bus stop 100 m, railway station Collevecchio 4 km.
Topography:
It is only 50 km from Rome, but Sabina is a not known part of Lazio. There are wonderul views of rolling hills dotted with villas, medieval villages, castles and abbeys. The old traditions of this area, where religion and agriculture are so important, come to life during the local fairs which are organized all year around. From Spring to Autunm there is always a party going on in one of the villages with fireworks at the end of the night.
