Topography:
Holiday resort of international fame, 8 km south of Rimini, with a sandy beach that slopes gently down to the sea which is 6 km long and up to 200 m wide. Ideal for families with children. Plenty of events, sport and entertainments. The Miramare di Rimini airport is nearby and the railway line Bologna-Ancona runs right through Riccione which can be rather noisy in parts.
