Situated in the country south of Perigord, in a splendid area of 35 hectares, undulating and dotted with woods and meadows, the Domaine de Gavaudun is a real little village with apartments, a hotel and a guest house. The old original buildings, tastefully renovated hide the restaurant, the bar/lounge, the shop and the reception. The modern traditional properties are the terraced houses and chalets which are built in the countryside around the central area which contains the sporting facilities. Topography:
Tiny village situated in the south of Perigord. On a rocky outcrop in the shape of a boat draw up the ruins of a castle of the 11 century. Gavaudun lies 7 km from Fumel, 50 km from Bergerac, 55 km km from Agen and Cahors, 65 km from Sarlat.The region is well known for its gastronomie and specialities such as truffles and mushrooms and of course its fine wines. Many excursions: the ctasles route, trekkking and walking paths, fining, mountain bikes, riding, canoes and kayak.
