Topography:
Seaside resort characterized by the number of laurel trees. The old part of the town and the harbour have many interesting historical ruins. Here start the famous Riviera of Opatija, with its villas, lovely gardens, public parks and a 12 km long promenade alond the sea all the way to Opatija.
