Rytirova Lhota 5 km from Sobotka: Very nice, cosy, rustic country house, 2 storeys, built in 1850, renovated in 1995, surrounded by trees and meadows, on the outskirts, in a secluded, quiet, sunny, elevated position, in the green. Private: grounds 2 ha, garden 200 m2 with lawn, indoor pool (6 x 4 m, depth 150 cm, 01.06.-01.10.). Uneven, narrow motor access to 40 m from the house. Parking by the house. Grocers, restaurant 2 km, bus stop 100 m. Swimming pool 6 km, cross-country ski trail 20 m. Please note: car essential. Part of the romantic property is a glazed building with swimming pool (ground floor) and gym/WC (glazed loft with beautiful views). Topography:
Sobotka, town with 2500 inhabitants, 13 km from Turnov, south of the protected National Park Bohemian Paradise. Good departure point for trips into the Polakanec valley (chalk cliffs), Kost castle which dominates the area with its imposing towers. To the north, there is the Baroque Humprecht pavillion (1666/1672). The village incorporates some typical examples of old working class houses.>Cesky raj (Bohemian Paradise) is the oldest nature park in Czech Republic (1955). 75 km from Prague (by the motorway). Area wellknown for its numerous rocky cliffs in strange shapes which make the mountain climbers happy as well as forming castles and fortresses. The region is equally rich in mineral water and lakes, of which the lake at Zabakor is one of the most important bird watching reserves. Beautiful, deep valley crossed by the Jesera river. To see: the Valdstejn and Trosky ruins, the Kost castle. Hiking paths in the Krkonose and Jizerske hory mountains.
