Thorigne d'Anjou, a charming village, has an interesting history with its old houses. It is better to walk through the village to explore it: the Harderie manor house (visits in July and August), the Violette hotel, the St Martin fountain and its communal washing area, by the Mayenne river, the Aubiniere manor house and the Varennes windmill. 4 km from Lion d'Angers which is well known for its horse racing Mondial du Lion. 25 km from Angers.
