The outdoor area is enclosed and furnished with gardn furniture. The position of La Bandita, right at the border between Tuscany and Umbria, offers numerous possibilities of excursions. There ids a public phone and a volley ball court. Swimming pool is open between 09.00h to 13.30h and 15.30h - 20.00h to avoid noise during the resting hours. Pets: only if very small and well behave. Topography:
Castiglione del Lago stretches over a chalky cliff, which once made up one of the four islands of Trasimeno lakes. Castiglione was inhabited by the Etruscans and today we can still find many evidence and archeological remains in the surrounding area. Castiglione offers wonderful tourist attractions such as the beach, restaurants, swimming pool, tennis places, riding and so on. Daily boat connections to the three other islands of the lakes. The position is ideal to visit other towns in Umbria like Assisi (40 km) or in Tuscany like Cortona and Montepulciano (15 km).
