The residence is located between the Valdichiana and the valley of the Orcia, close to Montepulciano (about 10 km). This town constitutes the major attraction of the valley, with a centre among the best-preserved in Tuscany and important monuments such as the Palazzo Comunale, the Loggia del Mercato, the Avignon palazzi and the Cathedral. Close by is an extensive shopping centre, with characteristic restaurants and shops of all kinds. For those who do not want to venture far from Borgo delle More, Acquaviva 2 km away offers basic shops. There are numerous excursions to be made in the valley: Pienza (20 km), Chianciano (15), Montalcino (40). There are also nearby facilities for tennis, horse-riding, and bicycle-hire. Montepulciano is situated between the Valdichiana and the Valle dell'Orcia valley with a lovely landscape with olive trees and vineyards. Montepulciano is an old lovely town with several monuments. Other excurtions to Chianciano Terme 15 km, Pienza approx 20 km, Montalcino approx 40 km.
