This pine log chalet is situatated approx 5 km south of Newtonmore within approx 5 km of nearest shops, pub and restaurant and 8 km from Kingussie. The holiday park is well maintained and is bourdered by two salmon rivers with wonderful panoramic views. An excellent base for exploring the Highlands of Scotland, Wildlife park and the Folk Museum.
Topography:
The capital of Badenoch and one of the major tourist centres in the valley, Kingussie is situated approximately 24 km south of Aviemore and 64 km from Inverness. This market town with traditional Victorian buildings is the home of the Highland Folk Museum and is close to the RSPB reserve at Insh Marshes and the Highland Wildlife Park. Superb selection of local restaurants, art gallery and a well-known golf course in a mountain setting. Regaular Shinty Matches are well worth a visit. Good position for visiting the Lochs, castles and whiskey trail.
