Topography:
This town with 20'000 inhabitants lies about 40 km east of Viareggio, between Lucca and Pistoia. Pescia is a well-know place in the centre of Valdinievole with numerous valuable art monuments dating from the middle ages. Interesting walks can be taken from Pescia e.g. to the view-point Colleviti.
