Topography:
Small village situated 5 km north-east of Zdar nad Sazavou. Priviledged position in the protected national park of Zdarske vrchy where there are several lakes, of which the largest is Velke Darka 206 hectares. A fishermans and amateur windsurfers paradise. The town has developed alongside its glass industry (private galassworks 3 km). 20 km west of Nove mesto na Morave (ski area of Zlata lyze). 150 km south-east of Prague (109 km on the Prague-Brno motorway). Sites of intereste: the Zdar nad Sazavou convent, the Baroque Zelena Ora church, work of the famous architect G. Santini (1677-1723), the museum at Vesely Kopec, Svobodne Hamry, dreviskov a Mozdenice within 30 km.
