If one had to rate the Lidi of Cammacchio then Spina would have to be the most ideal. Situated 30 km north of Ravenna, 55 km from Ferrara and 100 km south of Venice in a huge pine forest, the lovely holiday houses - most with a communal swimming pool - are spread along the coast. Disadvantage: it is very popular with the inhabitants of the surrounding area at weekends. Spina was a prospering Estrucan town in the 6th century B.C., today it is a pinnacle of culinary art, particularly when one includes all the other Lidi. Lots of lovely shops where bargains can be found. Spina concludes the 23 km long stretch of coast of the Camacchio. The conclusion of a family holiday paradise for Italy fans.
