Topography:
Zemplinska sirava, also called the west Slovakian sea, stretches over 33 km2, the second lake in Europe (depth max. 16.5 m). 4.5 km from the centre of Michalove and 63 km east of Kosice. At the foot of the Vihorlat hills there is a stretch of water which is used for water sports: windsurfing, 800 m slide, boat hire, pedalo hire, Yacht club, fishing. Tennis court, hiking and horseriding. Interesting trips within 30 km: natural protected area of Vihorlat, Pozdisovice castle, Viniansky hrad castle.
