The Podere di Montemaggiore is situated in the province of Siena, about 1 km from the main farm buildings of Fattoria Marengo. The property is made up of a main building and two directly connected annexes. About 100 metres in front of the apartments, protected from view by a dry-stone wall, is the swimming-pool, from where one can enjoy the panorama of Siena and the interesting countryside known as the 'creste senesi'. The flats have been furnished in a rustic style. Free tennis court at 3 km, possibility to visit wine cellars for degustation, horse-trekking may be organised, mobil phone rental. Guests also have at their disposal a kitchen garden where they may gather all the seasonal vegetables they choose. Agreements with restaurants, thermal baths, golf courts and mountain bike rentals. Topography:
Monte San Savino is a town with ancient routes with around 8000 inhabitants. It is situated 20 km south west of Arezzo on a hill 330 m high which looks over the Esse valley. Monte San Savino is a landscape centre. Here you will find art memorials from the latter part of the renaissance. Arezzo30 km, Siena 50 km, Florenz 70 km.
