Topography:
Frymburk (alt. 740 m), with 1,300 inhabitants is a town which was founded by the 'Rosenbergern' in 13th century. It is situated at the lower narrow southeast part of Lipno artificial lake. Worth seeing is the gothic church from 1277, the fountain and the pillory. There is a ferry connection with the shore on the opposite side. Cesky Krumlov, a middle-aged town with its centre which is classified as a historical monument, is 24 km away. Ceske Budejovice 36 km.
