Topography:
Old coastal town with a long history of invasions: from the Romans to the Venetians. Many ruins and monuments testimony of its trouble past, e.g. the roman forum and Venezian walls.. The peninsula is surrounded by many little islands which shield the town from the open sea and are destination of many interesting excursions. The coast line offers many gravel and sandy beaches. Most of the family homes are in Borik and Diklo.
