Taormina is a town with 10'000 inhabitants situated on a terrace at 250 m of altitute, on the east coast of Sicily, 35 km south of Messina. Nearby this picturesque resort one can visit the ruins of an old castle carved on the rocks and Castelmola a small town built at the foot of the mount Etna. Taormina is really one of the most beautiful places of Sicily and has lovely sandy beaches.
